Saturday night wearing my own design

God weekend til jer!

TRANSLATION: As promised, here are some pictures from last Saturday of my new dress, which I designed, made pattern for and sewed myself. :) It is made of a fine lace with stretch and can easily be pulled over your head when putting it on. It has a very slim fit and a beautiful lace trim in the bottom.

It was pretty cool to be able to wear your own design to a party and night out with friends. We had a great time. It has been a while since I’ve made outfit posts so I have to get used to standing in front of the camera like this again! Luckily I have a friend from my previous study who wants to help me take pictures of the clothes I make for myself, which is very nice of her. I am thinking that my future blogposts will focus more on stuff I make myself, whether it is drawings, illustrations, print or clothes (not to say that other things might occur). ;)

Have a nice weekend!

Fortsat god aften!

TRANSLATION: Those of you who follow me on Instagram might have seen some pictures from last week where I started a small dress project at home. I was out with some friends from my study Saturday in Aalborg and I really wanted a new dress for the occasion – but also because I felt like I had worn all my dresses out so many times. I haven’t been able to find anything in the stores lately either. It has not been festive enough, fitted me poorly or was a bit too expensive for my budget. So I simply decided to sew a dress myself and it ended up being a pretty busy week for me, because of course I had other plans as well. But I managed! ;) The best part about designing and sewing something for you (if you don’t run into too many problems), is that you get exactly what you want and it fits your body shape. Plus, it’s just awesome to be able to wear and show your own design!

Above, there are pictures from the process and underneath this you can see the final dress – my new ‘little black dress’. I will create a post later this week with pictures from Saturday evening where you can see me wear it.

Have a nice evening!
